CZT Love Heals Update

It has come to my attention that Sandy Hook is no longer accepting gifts as they
are overwhelmed:\

So now for the next question what would all of you like to do with the originals
that I have and will be getting? Here are some very quick minute ideas: we donate
them to another place on behalf of the victim's, somehow hold an auction, or
create a scrapbook with all of them that could somehow be displayed to Zentangle
groups (ex. CZT seminars with Rick and Maria). We could certainly move forward
with creating a book with all of the images and donate the proceeds. I am open
to ideas...

Possible book for Sandy Hook Families

Hi everyone! For all of those participating in the CZT Love Heals event for Sandy Hook Elementary - could you please also let me know if I have your permission to possibly put them in a book for Sandy Hook Elementary. Rho Densmore suggested a brilliant idea! To put all of the images into a book and then give a book to the family members. This also led to the idea that if we do this we could also sell these books and have all proceeds go to one of the many scholarships that have been created in honor of some of the victims. So if you are sending in an image, please let me know if I have your permission to share in a book. Thank you all so much for participating!

Healing Zendala 1 and 2 for Sandy Hook Elementary

Here is the first Healing Zendala I have done that I will be forwarding to Sandy Hook Elementary. Again if anyone is interested in participating please contact me and I will forward you my address. You do not need to be a CZT to participate. What matters is that loving and healing thoughts go into your Zentangle, ZIA, or Zendala.

With love and light,
Denyse, CZT7

Here is the second Zendala done tonight...

CZT Love Heals Event

CZT Love Heals Event - Due to the mass shooting at a grade school here in Connecticut that has killed 20 children (grades K - 4) and 6 adults I would like to host a CZT Love Heals event for them. I know it's a busy time of year, but I would like to deliver Zendalas, ZIA's and/or Zentangle tiles to the school. The main requirement is that with each stroke your thoughts, prayers, positive energy and/or well wishes for the friends and family go into it. If you are interested please let me know and I will e-mail you my address. I would like to be able to send them out in the next 2 -3 weeks.

Even if you are not a CZT and would like to participate please feel free to do so. Any act of kindness for these families, friends, and children would be appreciated.

Afreeka - New Tangle

Hi everyone! As promised here is my new tangle Afreeka. It was inspired by the Dover publications books of cliparts, vectors, etc. This tangle as many tangleations that can be done and it does take a little more focus. This pattern was unveiled Monday night at the class at CVH. As soon as I get my phone hooked up to my computer I will post the pictures of their wonderful tiles. I would really like to thank CVH for providing me with the opportunity to teach Zentangle some of the clients. I had a lot of fun with a wonderful group of people!

Ganesha for Dilip

I came across Dilip Patel's quest for collecting a hundred Zentangle Ganeshas. Of course I had to lend a hand! Unfortunately, this morning I don't have a lot of time to explain who Ganesha as I need to get to work, but I really wanted to contribute and I have to get ready for a Zentangle Class next Monday night. I will learn and post about Ganesha at another date. Dilip this is for you :)

I am also happy to announce that I will soon be releasing a Tangle I created called Afreeka.
